Fraud in Vote Count?

Thursday, November 4, 2004

Dear Editors,

I do not believe that the results of the 2004 election were honest. There is a relationship between the electronic voting machine manufacturers, the software developer, the christian reconstruction movement, the Bush administration and those who have supported his campaign.

While many would will say that this kind of speculation amounts to conspiracy theory I believe that there are enough facts to more than establish this as a legitimate cause for investigation.

I also believe that any attempt to uncover evidence and in addition to remove these machines from our system will be met with an inordinate amount of resistance.

Mike Jones

The Editors Respond:

We are certainly keeping our eyes and ears open for the possibility that there was fraud, and credible organizations are looking closely. If anything is uncovered, we will duly report it, but so far we see little substantial reason to suspect fraud.
