Erin Cassin is a freelance journalist who currently lives in Cancun, Mexico. Her journalism career has entailed a broad range of experiences, which include cofounding a community newspaper in the Bethnal Green neighborhood of London’s East End; heading up the arts and culture section of an English-language newspaper in Guadalajara, Mexico; and reporting about local news in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. She has worked for both mainstream and independent media outlets.
