This is an important project. The left has precious few media sites where stories are well researched. Indy Media is fine for what it does, so is Znet, but we need reporting that is authoritative... in fact, there should not be only ONE NewStandard but many. If this site takes off, it will be a catalyst for others. If we are serious about reaching out to others who are not yet sure what is to believed and what is not in the masinstream media, we need to do our jobs rather than be satsified with talking to ourselves all the time.
